Types of Massage

Massages are scheduled in advance as either table massage or Thai Yoga Massage.

Table massage usually include a seamless blend of elements of Swedish, Deep Tissue and Myofascial (and maybe even a little Thai Yoga) Massage. Cancer-sensitive Massage is an adjustment to table work. We will discuss what works best for you when you come for your appointment.

Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage

The practice of Thai Yoga Massage presents the ancient art of Thai Massage and adapts it to the "Western" body. Performed on a mat, with client fully clothed, the practitioner uses arms, legs, feet and hands to massage and gently stretch the body along energy lines named "sen." Invigorating and relaxing.

Myofascial Massage
Myofasical massage works to free "stuck" soft tissues, including muscle and fascia. Ranges from light pressure and superficial work to deeper release.

Cancer-Sensitive Massage

Paraffin Wax Treatments
Medical grade, purified (unscented) paraffin is warmed to liquid form allowing immersion of hands. The hardened paraffin traps the warmth, allowing it to penetrate your joints and other tissues assisting in relaxing and pain relief. An added benefit is softer skin. Those with medical issues such as high blood pressure, neuropathies and other issues should get permission from their health care provider prior to use. Schedule in advance.
